Before I tell you more about Jennifer pictured above…

First, I want to share something hilarious with you, because we have to laugh sometimes!  It's just a short clip from a Mom who summarizes all the different health philosophies coming at us daily!  Watch it here on Facebook or Instagram.  The comments there are so funny too!

So yes, I know we're all tired of hearing about “all the things” we should be doing.  But the reality is, we have to do something to keep fit and stay healthy, and I want to talk about what is working for a lot of people!

If you're following along over at the Facebook group for the Ultimate Trim Box/liver detox/hormone reset, you've probably seen Jennifer's story and results after one week.  She gave me permission to share it with you…

Jennifer lost 8 pounds in one week!  Here's her story:

“Let’s have the hard chat.  The one that no one likes to talk about.  I'm a wife, mom, work outside of our home and the keeper of all things.  A few weeks ago, it hit me.  Jennifer, you’ve got to do something for yourself.  My blood pressure finally told me that it was time to slow down and take a break.  The last year or so, I have really packed on the pounds.  Clearly, the pre-reset picture shows that especially in my face.  I knew my clothes were tighter.  I just kind of ignored it.  I’ve tried every diet out there and was unsuccessful.  My nurse practitioner offered me ozempic.  I told her no. 

Then like always, I saw Rose on Facebook sharing all this wonderful news about Anovité’s new products.  I have been an Anovite user for several years and love them.  I must say I was skeptical at first because I was so worried about how my body would react.  In the past I’ve always had reactions to certain products.  I ordered the kit anyway.  I told my self for 25.00, what did I have to lose but the weight!

Way to go, girl!!! I can definitely see it in your face!!! That is one thing I have loved about the system. To me, when it shows this much in the face (mine did too – each time I have done it), it shows me that we're losing the extra fluids and those are a major issue for me and I believe many others. My one-week results:  I lost a pound or half pound each day for a total of 5.5 pounds. One friend lost 16 pounds!

I ate delicious meals and a few hundred less calories per day than my normal, but had no hunger or even one urge to “cheat”.  I didn't have trouble with the supplements at all thankfully and I really think these are the reason the week wasn't difficult.  I think the biggest thing they help with is cutting cravings.  The ​UTB (Ultimate Trim Box) supplements​ must really curb hunger and they're also safe, natural, good ingredients, and with zero side effects, unlike the weight loss shots everyone is talking about!

Since I finished that one-week reset, I've been eating low-carb (and more butter and other fats), and still taking the supplements, but not as many as that reset week.  I've lost more, only in much smaller increments each day.  Some days I stay the same, at least I'm not going up.  HOWEVER, when that happens, I measure myself and see that I'm losing inches too!  I've lost 6″, basically some in all areas.  But slower weight loss is okay because eating low-fat like we do for week one is NOT good for our health long term (it's a nice jump-start though with the liver detox!), and also I think that if weight comes off slowly, it has a better chance of staying off.   (As long as you keep an eye on it and rein it in right when you see it creeping back up.  For me this was due to getting back into habits of overeating, because real food is so good!)

Here are a few of my low-carb meals (this is to give you ideas for AFTER the one-week reset):

I think you really have to find what works for you.  For me, taking the supplements keeps me from craving sweets and from over-eating.  I've been meal planning on Sundays like normal, and finding meals that work for me (low-carb), but with a starch filler added for the family.

  • One night I made keto chicken strips for me (I used pork rinds for breadcrumbs, it was so good, I'll try to post the recipe soon!) and regular for the fam.  I love BBQ so I only used a half-Tablespoon and added dijon mustard to that to stretch it and it hit the spot.  We also had seasoned green beans and the family (not me) had crispy potatoes.  That's all I had for dinner because I was still mostly full from lunch that day:  2 eggs and a bowl of leftover low-carb tomato soup.
  • Another day we had pork tacos and the fam had tortillas with it; I fried one low-carb/low-cal tortilla in butter (these tortillas have great ingredients too or next I'm trying these ones with only ONE net carb!) and we had lots of lettuce, peppers, an Asian sauce (low-carb), and cheese.
  • Another day we had a party to go to, so before we left I ate some berries and a couple eggs on half-piece of buttered toast (fermented multi-grain bread from a local baker).  Then at the party I drank my flavored sparkling water in a wine glass and only ate some spicy cheese while there.
  • We've had grassfed steak a couple of times (our son makes an amazing sauce for steak that I've told you about before).  The fam had rice or potatoes with it and I had cauliflower rice with more of the cream sauce on that.
  • I've also made egg salad and had it with some low-carb crackers I found that are only 1 net carb for 8 crackers and the ingredients are not bad, not perfect, but not horrible.  I'm planning to try my own recipe for low-carb crackers soon.
  • One day we had a whole chicken roasted in the oven.  Our son made the BEST wine/cream sauce using the pan drippings from the chicken, so they had that over pasta and I had it over cauliflower.  That night we also had my favorite low-carb garlic lemon parmesan zucchini:

  • The day I made the low-carb tomato soup, I also made these keto dinner rolls so I could dip them into it, they're so good and great to have more things to put butter on!

  • Lastly, I just found this Hero brand bundle of super low-carb breads that have not-too-bad ingredient labels!  (I mentioned the tortillas above.) I'm going to try this bundle.

Let me know if you like hearing about my meals!  I thought it might give you some good ideas, but it also may bore you to death, lol!
